What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the fully inspired word of GOD and is inerrant in its original form.

We believe in one GOD, the maker of heaven and earth, of things visible and invisible, who expresses Himself in 3 persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus is the Only-begotten Son of God the Father, Who is of the essence of the Father.  He is God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten and not made; of the very same nature of the Father, through Whom all things came into being, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.

We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully GOD, fully man, lived a sinless life, suffered, was crucified as atonement for our sins, raised on the third day in bodily form from the dead as proof of His majesty and ascended into heaven.

We believe that every person is created as a precious being and in the likeness of GOD.  Through our sinful nature, though, we become separated from GOD.  We believe that the only path back to GOD the Father is through faith in Jesus Christ, who serves as our High Priest, our Savior, our Advocate and our Lord.

We believe that the Holy Spirit helps to guide those who seek GOD away from evil into a loving relationship with Jesus throughout our life in this world.  We believe that the Holy Spirit comforts us, teaches us and empowers us with spiritual gifts and other abilities to serve GOD.

We believe that all sincere followers of Jesus Christ throughout the world and all the ages form One, Universal, Apostolic, and Holy Church - one body of believers who are brothers and sisters in Christ.

We believe that Jesus will return in bodily form with the glory of the Father to pass judgment on the living and the dead.  We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell, and in the bodily resurrection of all; the believer will be raised to everlasting life with the Lord and the unbeliever will be raised to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment apart from the presence of the Lord.
