The Last Days According To Jesus - Introduction

The Last Days According To Jesus
Matthew 23:38-39
“Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!’”
I’ve been hesitant to go down this path but I don’t think I can wait any longer. There is so much happening out in the world that it seems like everyone has questions that are so difficult to answer.
There are earthquakes, wars, false prophets and plagues. We are seeing tribulations in the world, apostasies in the church and confusion in our own hearts.
The nation of Israel is under attack as I write this. No one trusts our leaders or those who tell us what’s going on. Our children don’t even know if they are boys or girls anymore. The world is a mess and the church is so divided that it’s unable to make an impact. Wouldn’t it be nice to know what Jesus thinks about all of this?
Well, guess what? He tells us exactly that in Matthew 24-25. We call it the Olivet Discourse because Jesus sat down on the Mount of Olives and began to teach His disciples about the final days of our planet.
We are going to take a look at this passage in a way that helps us see our own place in it all. Are the Last Days near? Is it for real? What is the Rapture or the Tribulation? How will we know them when they happen? What is an Abomination of Desolation?
Buckle in for this one. It will offend some and surprise others and, somewhere along the way, social media will not like this AT ALL! You may have to search hard for my posts for a while because I don’t believe that they are going to be publishing this page to your feed.
Your eyes will be opened and your heart will be glad. But, it’s going to freak you out, too.
I’m just sayin’.
