Tomorrow

Jesus has traveled to Galilee and has begun his public ministry with His “Sermon on the Mount” a short distance away. He discusses many concepts within his message and says in
Matthew 6:34
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
This sentiment can also be found in Luke 12:22-34 and it is designed to help us focus on our salvation and the coming kingdom of God. When we focus on the present reality, God will help pull us through our frustrations and difficulties that come our way each day. God will take care of us.
Reverend John MacArthur, a well-known theologian and pastor once stated;
“Don’t worry about the future. Even though it will have its share of problems, they have a way of working themselves out at the time. Just deal with them as they come, for there’s no way to solve them in advance. Providing for tomorrow is good, but worrying about tomorrow is sin because God is the God of tomorrow just like He is the God of today.”
We are to lean on God, give him our troubles, and trust in Him that all will be well.
